Rebel (The Fallen Series Book 4)

Description

A seductive insurrection returns to Kristina Douglas’s “absorbing world” (RT Book Reviews) of the Fallen with a deadly plan for revenge.

Can she agree with herself enough . . .

As a seer, Martha’s visions aren’t at all times reliable, but in recent times, her erotic dreams are driving her mad, her forbidden lover a dark stranger whose name haunts her: Cain. She knows the Fallen are in danger when the rogue angel abruptly appears in tongues of flame and turns his beautiful, wicked eyes on her, sensing the whole thing she most wants to keep hidden.

. . . to fall in love with the enemy?

For a millennium, Cain has sought revenge for the Fallen’s betrayal, and now he has in spite of everything returned to destroy their secure, tidy world. The usage of Martha as an unwitting pawn seems easy enough until Cain finds himself falling in love with her—just when it can be too late to save her from a brutal fate of his own design.
